Menu For Yousm invites you to be a guest in your own home!

Our Personal Chef Service provides in-home food preparation for a wide range of dinner parties from the formal to the casual; plated three-course dinners to buffet service. No matter the occasion or theme, we will design a menu specifically for your event, taking into account your tastes and personal preferences. Unlike most catering services, each menu is customized and prepared in your home for a more fresh and personal experience.

An extreme effort is made for you to have a memorable event with memorable food. We focus on using fresh seasonal ingredients, cooked using both classic and modern techniques. No matter which menu theme or direction you choose, our dishes will be sure to delight!

Private Party Service includes:

  • Menu Consultation in your home
  • Custom menu planning
  • Prep work and grocery shopping
  • The Chef and Assistant(s)/Server(s) to serve you and your guests
  • Cleanup

Prices do not include:

  • Cost of ingredients, as menus and quantities vary

All dinner party themes are typically 3 courses. These too can be altered for your event.

  • An Appetizer, a soup, or a salad course
  • Entree with paired sides
  • Dessert

If you are interested in a dinner party in your home from 4-20 guests, please consider Menu For You℠ as an option. Please allow at least 3 weeks of notice prior to your date.

MENU FOR YOUsm operates on a service fee plus the cost of groceries, which allows you the greatest flexibility.
Rates start at $1200 plus groceries for dinner party and special event service.

I  have had many big parties in my home, but choosing Chef Vahé to do the cooking for me was the best decision that I could have made. There were many dietary restrictions that we discussed and Chef Vahé was able to prepare an elegant, delicious meal for my party of 18. He understood all of my food concerns leaving me free to focus on entertaining and enjoying my event. He was meticulous in the food preparation, used only the healthiest ingredients brought all of his equipment and left the kitchen spotless! My guests were thoroughly impressed! I will definitely ask him again.

It’s very easy to write a review of your service. The food was great, the level of service and completeness was amazing. From the moment you all showed up, you handled everything. First you brought EVERYTHING you needed. You asked for nothing from us. I was happy to take my own trash out to make way for you, but you brought your own cans and bags. To say I was surprised was an understatement, but it didn’t stop there. You filled the kitchen, boxes of supplies, and just got to work. It seemed overwhelming to me, but fortunately I wasn’t doing any of the work. I enjoyed chatting with you as well as the staff. Everyone was pleasant and happy. While you were there for 10 hours, the team was as friendly at the end of the night as at the beginning of the day. And the kitchen was spotless when you were done. What a pleasure.

Now onto the food. It was beautiful and there was more than enough for everyone, but not so much that we couldn’t finish it as leftovers. Fortunately we didn’t have to throw anything out. Originally, the proposed menu was a little light in the number of dishes served, but you were more than accommodating when we added a few other options like a salad and rice. The appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented. They included two baked brie options, a delicious salmon on a greenhouse cucumber and other choices. We then went onto tasty beef tenderloin with a Chimichurri sauce, a salad, lime-cilantro rice and some glazed carrots. The dessert was also amazing. We supplemented that, but your lemon bars were to die for. They were so tasty and tart, just the way I like them.

At the end of the night, the kitchen was spotless; the dishes were washed or loaded in the dishwasher. All that we had to do was turnout the lights and relax for a few minutes before going to bed. In all it was an amazing night for all of us because we enjoyed the party and our guests without a care in the world about the kitchen and the meal even when we upped the number at the last minute. I would definitely use your Menu For You for another similar event and would enthusiastically recommend you to anyone looking for a lovely catered dinner party.

Just to sum it up, my husband said, “We are never using anyone else but Vahé that was the best, easiest dinner party we have ever thrown!” The arctic char and the cauliflower puree were the standout items of the night and my personal fave was the dessert! The evening went so smoothly and was so tasty and the presentation amazing!!!  What a treat to have a clean kitchen as well.  Absolutely wonderful in every aspect.
